This page explains theTraffic X referral program and how you can use it to
greatly leverage your exposure.
TheTraffic X referral program has three parts:
The Referred Link - by web links from your site toTraffic X a special way, all
surfers are tracked as a potential sign up coming from you.
The Sign Up - When a new member joinsTraffic X, they are checked to see if they
were referred by you. If they are, you receive a small email when they joined to let you
know that you have referred a new member toTraffic X.
*** IMPORTANT ***
You won't know who joinedTraffic X, you only know that someone did.Traffic X respects the
privacy of every member who joins, all member information remains confidential.
Weekly Updates - Once you have a referred member, about once a week your account
will be credited with 5% of that members page visits. If during the previous week the
referred member had 1000 visitors to their page, you will be credited 50 ad displays. When
you are given these additional exposures you will be sent email telling you the total # of
members you have referred and the total amount your account was credited.
The Referred Link Whenever you link toTraffic X, you should use the following
URL:
http://www.linkbuddies.com/start.go?id=yourid
Replace yourid with yourTraffic X member ID. This link always brings up the
mainTraffic X page, but it does the necessary work to track the surfer too!
Once you establish a link toTraffic X using the above code, you should click on it to
test it out. If everything is okay, then you will go to theTraffic X main page.
If you are using theTraffic X HTML Code that displays aTraffic X logo to the left of
your site, this link is already set up for you. You could also set up a text only link or
a different image, or even a combination of both.

You may want to copy the image to your local server. If you know how to do that, please
feel free to do so. If you don't know how, just use the example code as is (replacing
yourid of course.)

Text Link Example If you want to place a text link on your site to link back
toTraffic X, you can say whatever you want. Here are a couple examples:

Signature Lines Another place that you can promoteTraffic X is in your email
signature line. Since getting referrals helps you display more ads, a simple line at the
end of each piece of email can a very effective way of getting clicks.
