Recipes - Ground Bison

Bison burger may be used as a substitute in any of your recipes calling for ground beef. Bison will be leaner than any ground steak or burger you are accustomed to and precautions must be taken in order for it not to dry out. Do not expect it to shrink or leave any residues in the pan after cooking. Although bison burger is leaner, additional fat is not recommended when preparing a recipe. This will only increase the amount of fat and cholesterol you are trying to avoid.
