The 160th SOAR was formed from attachments from the 101st "Screaming Eagles" Aviation Battalion, 158th Aviation Battalion, 229th Aviation Battalion and the 159th Aviation Battalion. Task Force 160 (aka 160th SOAR) is the Army's, let alone the U.S. military's premier special operations aviation task force. The 160th SOAR is the "Delta Force" of flying.
The 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment specializes in assault and defense through any means. We are especially skilled in piloting aircraft. We strike when a strike is unexpected. We defend when defending is not an option, but a requirement. Unlike the real 160th SOAR, we also battle on land (thats a given.)
