Follow these steps to
complete your task:
Part One: Research

Research the four major ancient
civilizations that were located in the Mediterranean region using the links
listed in resources section.

With the cooperation of all your
group members, print out a copy of the Mediterranean Region Graphic Organizer
and divide the topics and civilizations listed between the group members.
v
Complete your part of the
research and fill in the related areas on the graphic organizer.
v
In your group, discuss the
information you have recorded. Use it to answer the question: Which ancient
civilization from the Mediterranean region most influenced the modern world?
v
Your group must then prepare a
PowerPoint presentation to present your findings, opinions, and ideas for the
new exhibit to the museum board.

Slide two should have your
answer to the question.

Slide 3-7 should have examples
of the important contributions of the civilization you chose. Use examples from
your research to reinforce your answer.

Slide 8 should have a
summarizing conclusion that restates your opinion and answer to the question.
v
Slide 9 should list the
resources you used for your research and the sources of any graphics you used
from the web for this presentation.
v
Slide 10 should list the names
of all your group members.
v
All slides should contain a
background, text, and graphics and animation.
v
All slides should contain
readable text fonts, graphics should complement the text information, and
background should relate to the topic.
v Slide appearance should be pleasing overall. Graphics, fonts and backgrounds should not detract from the information and purpose of the presentation.
