On this page I'll include reviews of the shows I've seen by Joe, both recently and in years past. I'll also include reviews
that others send me.
November 9, 2002, The Key Club, Los Angles As Promised Joe and Eman put on an awsome show. People came from
all over to be there. The set included four of his new songs which included "Someday" and "LA Blues" that will appear on his
next alblbum due out sometime next year. (I'm hearing around March) My favriote part of the show was when he he was thanking
the husbands and boyfriends for coming to the show? He says ..."I wanna give props out to all the husbands that came down
with their girls tonight." Then talking like a girl he says...."You're fucking going, I had the tickets THREE weeks! Yes you
are! Yes you...OH REALLY?!Football? Uh huh? Ya, no, I don't think so. We're going. Eight o'clock. Yes. YES, I STILL have the
fucking poster on the wall!!! Yes i do! And he's a lot better kisser than you are lately!!" LOL! It was a riot!
Huge props out to oceanblue44@yahoo.com who taped the show on micro mini tape and got this wonderful quote word for word!
Thank you soo much! That was the best moment! -Me
May 24, 2002, The Viper Room, Los Angles
Friday's show he wasn't as relaxed as he was the night before and there was an obnoxious guy in the back yelling stuff
out the whole time. Joe being himself took it in stride, but by the end of it you could tell it was making him mad. He didn't
do "Stay The Same" but he did do "I Love You Came to Late" twice because he wanted to sing it for Scot Sax, but he didn't
show up til later, so he did it again just for him. Anyway, the real b**** of it all was that we weren't allowed to take any
pictures what so ever! No cameras were allowed. :( *snif* *snif* -Me
May 23, 2002, The Viper Room, Los Angles
Thursday nights performance was great! He was relaxed and having the fun he should have. Just like he was on the new
live CD. It was funny the Boston Public people were there and they kept talking through the whole show. Not paying attention
to any of it. Finally Joe goes to the very edge of his side where they were sitting and says I'm going to make you listen
if it's the last thing I do. So he sings his song and after he says "That shit might happen in your class room, but it's
not going to happen in my class room, so shut the f*** up!" Funny he said it to the guy he signed the contract with. LOL!
Another funny thing that happened at Thursday nights concert both he and E-man forgot the second verse of "Rain." And when
they asked the audience we all went blank as well. I mean I tried for the life of me, but I couldn't get it to go into my
head. Joe said "I can't even remember the words to my own f***ing song!" Someone finally yelled it out and they finished the
song, but that was way too funny! No cameras were allowed, so no pictures. :( *snif* -Me
Joe and Eman in LA at the Viper Room, was cool because I'd never seen Joe or a show in a club before. I even hosted
a few people at my home. Having been on stage before I had the feeling Joe was a little disconected and in the "zen" of preforming
for most of it. If you look close you can see where he gets out of it to connect with the audience for a minute then goes
right back into mode. Eman was great, he's really personable. What I didn't like was being behind the girls who had camped
out because they were taller and bigger than me and had to spread out. I have been informed they do this at alot of the shows,
give it a rest please. Some of us little Bravehearts would like to be close enough to smell Joe too.
I did start out my night at the Viper Room about two to three people from Joe but after three songs I needed some water.
I ended up in the back next to someone I had worked with on Boston Public and not missing a thing. I prefered the smaller
venue and actually got a better show in the back when I got the vibe Joe didn't feel like conecting with us much. I think
he was more into flirting with Geri Ryan. ;) -kimspeople@yahoo.com
June 5, 2002, The House Of Blues, New Orleans
hey just thought that i would write u and tell u about june5th ,the show got started a little late.joe came out with
a very bad hair cut he said that he had done it himself.but he can sing up a storm!he was so sexy with his black leather
pants,black shirt,and cowboy boots.he played the crowd very well.on a scale from 1-10 it was a 10 if not higher.after
the show around 1:30 in the morning he came out to greet his fans, with a smile on his face for each picture he took
with his fans.he was awesome! -mandi champion
July 12, 2001, Roxy Night Club, Los Angles
Joe Rocked the house! I got second row! I took great pics I hope. (I hope to have them up soon!) I touched his leg, so
I could say that I touched him on stage. LMAO! He winked at me during the song "I Don't Know Why I Love You." He also messed
up a lot, but it was f***ing cool. During "Stay The Same" at the end when he belts out "and I hope you always stay the same"
he turned off his mic by accident and then realized it and stopped and said "F***!" It was priceless! The highlight of that
night for me was the wink though. ;) -Me
August 29, 1999, Hard Rock Cafe (the joint), Las Vegas, NV
I started out in the fifth row for this concert, but
when it started we climbed over the seats to the third row because there was no one in front of us. The security guard saw
us and didn't care. I got some more wonderful pictures from this concert. And after I got pictures with his then back-up singers
and his Brother Tom. I missed getting one with Joe then though. -Me
August 25, 1999, Concord Pavilion, Concord, CA
I was in the fifth row for this concert and I got some great pictures. The Concert was great and ohh, those leather
pants. The performance for "Let Me Take You For A Ride" was soo worth the ten hour trip to both Concord and Las Vegas. The
funniest part of the concert was when some girl jumped up on stage and grabbed Joe around the waist. I'm sure that was the
most frightening part for him though. -Me
August 24, 1999, The Greek Theater, Los Angeles
I had seventh
row and got some really bad pictures. Only a few are worth anything. The best part of that whole trip was that I got to see
him coming off his tour bus when he was arriving at the venue. I had to be one of the first people he saw coming off the bus
because I was right in front of the door! -Me
