Rhododendron 'Dexter's Springtime' is a very floriferous and fragrant having a habit wider than tall, not terribly hardy.
Heritage Plantation in Sandwich, Massachusetts is famous for its large collection of Dexter Rhododendrons. These gardens, which are open to the public for a small fee, will be a featured stop during the 2000 Annual Convention of the American Rhododendron Society.
