home of texas a&m university and the fightin' texas aggies! we have had many adventures in aggieland after we got together in 2002. amber came to visit me many times during my freshman and sophomore years before she was accepted to attend the school my junior year. we have become closer experiencing the many special traditions that the university has to offer and even spent many evenings out on the town living it up in a little ol' conservative college town. this place will always hold a special place in our hearts because of the aggie spirit that joins all aggies as a family. Sitting there in the second deck with Ambers family we got to experience George Strait, the king of country music. He put on a great show and played all of his great hits. We ran into long time friend Nichole Weiss and caught up on old times. Home of the major leauge baseball team the Texas Rangers, we have spent many holdiays here with Justin's grandparents who live in the area. Great food, lots of laughs, and a wagon full of aggie pride are always on the check list of the adventures we have up there. The original date of the tour stop in austin was canceled due to bad weather and was set for a month later. Justin was in College Station at the time and was gonna fight through the bad weather to make it after making special arrangments to have the night free. The later rescheduled date fell on a school night but did not stop Justin from driving the 100 miles to spend the special evening with his honey. It turned out to be a great show and Kenny was sure to thank everyone for coming to see him perform even after the change in date. the small country town of lockhart is the home of ambers family and relatives. since we got together in 2002 we have made many visits to the area to see where ambers mom grew up as a child. every july to celebrate independence day they hold an annual event called chisolm trail. from a parade that runs all throughout the streets of town, to the night events that bring carnival lightrs, a country western dance, home cooked food, and many familiar faces, we had lots of fun attending in 2002. the beautiful mountain in central texas is where we spent our very first valentines in 2002. we had a picinic among the high hills and beneath the clear blue skys. we overlooked the wonderful views of the austin city limits and exchanged a few gifts. it is a very special and romantic place i hope we can revisit soon. home of the alamo, the world champion spurs, and the heb headquarters, this big city holds a very special memory for me and amber. for our six month anniversary on july 4th 2002 we escaped our everyday routines for three days to take on tourist roles and enjoy the fireworks and spirit of the holiday. the remote hill country town is the home of justin's grandparents. the area holds so much peace amongst the trees and cool breeze. many memories have been made out there for family gatherings during the holidays and birthdays. it is a great place to escape the world and see the true beauty of nature. country music star tim mcgraw has always been one of my favorite artists. amber, me, kierstin, my brother matthew, and his girlfriend. it was a great show because during a few of the songs he did he allowed little children to come and sit by the piano and meet the band. the seats were in the nose bleed section but with luck we brought some binoculars that got us to see the great music we could hear. During a few of the songs, being near a back empty row, Justin took Amber to dance up above amongst the empty seats. It was very romantic and we can't wait to go see him again. our first adventure down to new braunfels drove us through some wicked and fierce storms to get there. it was very disappointing the entire way there because we figured the weather would not permit and we would have to turn around and drive home. sure enough though, it seems just as we pulled into the parking lot the skies started to clear and the sun started to peak out between the clouds. after a day of fun in the sun we wondered if it could be turn that everywhere we went, love follows. cuz it sure seemed like more than luck was on our side to brighten the skies and turn a long wet drive into fun at the waterpark.
