High turnout for graduation
as 16 seniors walk:
About 400 people turned
out for the graduation ceremony, Lumen Christi's first in it's new gymnasium as the school handed out diplomas to its
largest senior class yet. In all, 16 seniors walked. Speeches were given by Archbishop Roger Schweitz, headmaster Jim Yeargan,
honor student Nikole Hill, co-validictorians with honors Noah and Adam Brauner, Guest of Honor Alaska Lieutennant Governor
Loren Leman, and teacher Randy May.

Also acknowledged was teacher Sandra
Paxton, who founded the school's Spirit Squad, taught Spanish and Theology, and spearheaded many projects such as altar servers
and eucharistic ministers. Mrs. Paxton is retiring and moving to Florida. Everyone at Lumen Christi would like to extend
a profound thanks and best wishes for her and her husband in their new home.
