LIRR VIDEO VOL.1

This is for a copy of a VHS color video that I took of the Long Island Railroad during the days of 6-15-86 through 6-19-86. That's right,over 15 years ago. Approx. time is about 115 minutes( almost 2 hours) You'll see GP-38's at the Old Ronkonkoma Yard with also an MP-15 and a powerpack. The rest of the tape features Alco C-420's 222/223/224/225/227 during a 3 day period working freight between Pine-Aire andYaphank NY. C-420 units were usually in paired sets daily ie.(225+223). This tape features a lot of switching of sidings. Don't expect constant runbys.Also remember that this is video footage that I took and it is not one of those "professional" videos that are on the video market. LIRR VIDEO VOL.2

This is for Volume #2, a copy of a VHS color video that I took of the Long Island Railroad during the days of 6-19-86 through 8-11-86. That's right, over 15 years ago. Approx. time is about 115 minutes (almost 2 hours) you'll see the C-420s working the Main Line from Pine-Aire Riverhead. C-420 units were usually in paired sets daily ie. (223+224). This tape features a lot of switching of sidings. Don't expect constant runbys. Also remember that this is video footage that I took and it is not one of those "professional" videos that are on the video market. Also on this tape I have a couple of passenger trains at Patchogue with parlor service. A C-420 #229 on a work train at Smithtown taken from the bridge at Brooksite Dr.Also featured are a few minutes of MP-15s @ Prima Asphalt siding and a westbound small freight @ Smithtown with gondolas. A still shot of #159-160 @ Pine-Aire. If you interested in seeing these units at work, you won't be disappointed. All copies are copied on a quality VHS videotape. Cost is only $21.95 complete. This is a set of "8" 4x6 COLOR Photos of LIRR Alco C-420's. The engine numbers are the 222-229 group. #222 shown at Fresh Pond,#223 Blowing heavy smoke at Medford,#224 with hoppers at Prima,#225 nose pose at Medford, #226 in a trio at Riverhead, #227 end of the line at Morris Park, #228 with coal at Smithtown,#229 Short hood forward at Kings Park.
