This blanket is an easy pattern using the afghan st.
Level:
medium
Tools Required:
4.5mm crochet hook
8ply yarn
Instructions:
Using 4.5mm hook chain 85
working rows 1 and 2 of afghan st (below) pattern , work 125 rows
ending with a 2nd row
Work 1 row of sc across.
Fasten off. Weave in all ends.
AFGHAN ST PATTERN:
Row 1 : - insert hook into st, yarn over hook and pull yarn back
through making a st, leave st on hook and repeat across work leaving
all sts on hook just worked.
Row 2 :- yarn over hook and pull through first 2 sts make a st, repeat t
his across all the sts working 2 sts at a time until you have 1 st left on
the hook.
Start working row 1 again.
Make up:
Complete the blanket with a row of either shells or simply sc around the
edge.
