I towed the car home leaving a trail of transmission fluid that leaked out of a hole in the pan.
I used JB Weld to close a hole in the transmission pan. The repair lasted until I ran over a curb because of brake failure.
**Hint: when the brakes fade after 5 minutes of driving assume something's wrong.
The curb incident reminded me, that being lazy can be expensive and dangerous.
Replaced the LH425 transmission with an audi 5000C S Turbo Quattro.
