The National Medical University Central
Clinical Hospital serves as the core teaching center of clinical instruction for medical
students. This hospital, opened in 1925 was the first hospital in Mongolia and was
permitted to be transformed into the Central clinical Hospital of the National medical
university of Mongolia in November 1995. The university Central clinic hospital consists
of 18 clinics and departments. This hospital has 600 beds and a teaching and research
facility serving about 153000 outpatients a year.
