 | What you hear in secret, that you should
shout from the mountain tops; for no one lights a lamp, and puts it under a bushel, nor do
they put it in a hidden place, but they put it on a lamp stand so that all who come in and
go out may see its light, for if a blind man leads a blind man both of them will loose
their way.
|
 | Beware, for your leaders have received
the keys of knowledge, and they have hidden them from you. They have not entered through
the doors of knowledge and they have not let those who wished to enter do so either.
|
 | Love your brother as your soul, and
guard him as the apple of your eye.
|
 | I took my stand in the midst of the
world and in the flesh I appeared to them; but I found them all drunk, I found none
thirsty. My soul is afflicted for the sons of men, because they are blind in their heart
and do not see that empty the came into this world and empty they seek to go out of the
world again.
|
 | If the flesh came into existence because
of the spirit, it is a marvel; but if the spirit came into existence because of the body,
it is a marvel of marvels. But I marvel at how this great wealth of spirit has made its
home in such poverty.
|
 | Why do you call me good? there is none
good, but the Father. If I would bear witness to myself, I would surely bear witness to a
lie!
|
 | Become passers-by.
|
 | Let him who seeks, not cease seeking
until he finds, and when he finds, he will be troubled, and when he is troubled, he will
marvel and he will be freed from everything.
|
 | Do not let those who lead you tell you
that peace is to be had over here or over there. For your peace is within you and without
you. If you will know yourselves, you will know your peace is everywhere, within you and
without you. But if you do not know yourselves, then you will always be in poverty.
|
 | Know what knowledge has been given to
you, and what is still hidden from you will be revealed. For there is never anything
hidden that will not be revealed.
|
 | Do not lie, and do not do what you hate.
For what ever goes into your mouth will never defile you, but what comes out of your
mouth, is what what will defile you.
|
 | When you make the two, one, and the
outer as the inner, then you will find peace. If you cannot fast from the world you will
not know peace. Therefore do not worry about life, what you will eat; or what you will
wear. Fix not your heart on things of the earth; and be not anxious. For life is more than
food, and the body more than clothes. Your Father knows and your needs, and supplies those
who trust in Him. Look at the birds of the air: They do not sow or reap, they have no
storeroom or barn; yet the Father feeds them. And to the Father you are much more
valuable than the birds. Who can by worrying can add a single hour to their life? Since
you cannot do this little thing, why do you worry about the rest? Look at the flowers of
the earth: they do not labor or spin. They trust in the Father, and they grow, no son of
man, not even Solomon in all his excellence, was ever clothed like one of these. The birds
of the air, the flowers of the earth simply trust in the Father; and he provides for them.
Who of you if asked by your child for bread, would give them a stone? Or if asked for some
fish would give them a snake? If you who love one day and hate the next, would give such
good gifts to your children, how much more will the Father give to you! So do not set your
heart on what you will eat or drink; nor what you will wear. For whatever you treasure,
there your heart will be also. Your Father knows what you need, seek it in Him, and he
will provide. Let the day's own trouble be sufficient for the day. In the end the two will
lay on a bed: the one will die, The One will live, be careful which one you invest
in.
|
 | An enlightened person brings forth good
things from their heart, just as a sleepy person brings forth disorder from their heart,
for out of the abundance of ones heart comes all things.
|
 | I am the root and my Father the source.
Every branch in me that does not bear fruit is taken away: and every branch that does bear
fruit, My Father prunes, so that it will bring forth more fruit. Remain in me, and I will
sustain you. As no branch can live of itself, except that it remains with the root, no
more can a person live unless it remains in the root. If one will not remain
in me he will wither buy his own choice. If you will remain in me, ask what you will, and
it shall be done for you. In this way my Father is glorified when you bear much fruit for
this is his wish for you. As my Father has loved me, I have and always will love you. These
things I tell you, so that your joy may never leave you, and that your peace be always. I
am the root and you are the branches, those who remain in me I will sustain. Only this I
ask of you, that you love one another as I have loved you.

 | Whoever has found the world has found a
corpse, and whoever has found a corpse finds that there is nothing there for them.
