Our Mission

Maternal Outreach Ministry exists to offer compassionate concern, action and information to a woman facing an untimely pregnancy.

Philosophy Of This Ministry

We have faith in God; that He is our strength.  We believe that no matter how severe the problem or the background may be, God can heal the wounds and create a new and whole person in His name.

The commitment of the people who staff this ministry must be one of total giving.  They must also believe God can supply the total needs of the ministry materially, in our care and around us.

We believe that God is in the business of changing lives.  Sometimes we will see the fruits of our labors and sometimes we are seed planters and never see the harvest.  We must trust our role in a clients life to His care.

Women In Our Care

Each woman in our care is unique and special in the eyes of God.  We must be willing and open to be used as a vessel in her life.  God has a plan for each of the women's lives and for their child.  We must be open to what He is doing in this area, often laying aside our personal feelings.

We believe in dealing with each woman as a whole person with varying needs and wounds. (Emotional, physical, material and spiritual)

Our Staff

Each member of the staff is uniquely equipped with special gifts to offer the client, other staff members and this ministry.

The staff must first be committed to the assignment we have been called to, and then, as we feel able and our talents and gifts come forth, take on additional areas of need within the ministry and for each other.

Each person needs time for themselves and for their family.  we must, as a staff, make our time with God top priority, our family second and our ministry third.

It is essential that we be committed to one another.  Open and honest communication are a vital part of our staff.  We must be able to share our feelings and our pain with one another without fear of rejection.  Each staff member must be accepted for who they are in Jesus, knowing there will be areas that will need growth or may be different from other staff members.  In all these areas, we must hold onto Jesus, and His love, not only for us, but for our fellow servants.

Biblically

We stand on all the promises of God.  We believe, without exception, the Word of God.  We are His vessels and will be used in varying ways with each woman we minister to.  We believe that God is alive and well and in our world today.

Materially

The property and finances of this ministry belong to God and have been entrusted to our care.

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to serving others; specifically women facing an untimely pregnancy.

• Clothing and furnishings for mother and baby

• Pregnancy test

• Education regarding pregnancy, abortion and alternatives available

• Peer counseling and friendship during and after the pregnancy

• Labor/birth coach

• PACE ~ A safe place to heal if you've had an abortion.
