MaRs is a 15 volumes shoujo manga series, by author FuYuMi SoRyO. FuYuMi SoRyO draws her own pictures which is great b.c. that way u get the real perspective of the author. along with the 15 volumes realeased there are also 3 other books pertaining to this series. the first, entitled Gaiden: A Horse With No Name, is about the friendship of ReI and TaTsUyA, when they first started high school, the other two apparently have nothing wutsoever with the characters from the series*which is the info i got from a spoiler/review site, can't remember which one tho, i've seen so many*. these volumes were released into english in the U.S. and Canada by a company called Tokyopop, in it's Authentic manga line. Tokyopop also produced "American Manga", and manga which as been transfered into the western style of reading*right to left* MaRs can be found is most anime stores, and in some big-book stores such as Borders*U.S.* and Chapters*i think only in Canada.* u can also order MaRs online on Amazon.com/.ca. the fixed price for MaRs is $9.99 per manga *U.S.* and around $16.99 per manga *Canada* however u can cometimes get better deals at smaller anime stores or when u order online. i've found a place which sells MaRs for $12.80 *Canada- called Sakura Media* *note:all prices are in the currency of the specific country mentioned, just to clarify, so dun get confused now*. MaRs is also found in most anime/book stores in Japan and Asia, as i hear it is very popular there. in Italy, MaRs is being published in an anime*i think, don't remember the name* magazine. the first MaRs was published and released in 1996 in Japan and has henceforth become quite popular. i'm not asure if FuYuMi SoRyO has any other mangas out, so far MaRs is the only one i've come across. if u find n e, or u have ne questions or comments, u can sign the guestbook on the main OWHAG page.
