1. Backup the registry by running scanregw.
2. Run RegEdit and export the registry to C:\Windows\NewReg.reg
3. Restart your PC. Press F8 during boot and choose command prompt
only.
4. Enable a 8MB disk cache with writebehind caching by typing
smartdrv 8192 8192 C+.
5. Change to Windows directory at the command prompt type RegEdit
/C NewReg.reg. Note: This procedure can take a few minutes to run.
If the procedure does not complete restore your registry from the
backup and continue.
