sunlight laughing on the water

“ come and look at me ”

“ that’s better ”

sunlight’s laughing and i am crying

why am i crying ?

strands of white beaches

ocean curls over the moon

death is the same as love

i wrote this little poem years ago up at cape  leveque in northern western australia which is rather beautiful and has very high tides

walking into the dissolving dust

sky the blue in hieroglyphs

green streams of obscene dreams

aeons burst in a yellow star glow

honeyed clottings of attachment

sticky platelets

self is psychotic

who do we think we are ?

a life adrift

there is no fault

we are disturbed by love

Oh difficulty !

mean bitch

i shall not call thee sweet

beyond understanding

thou reprovest me

yet what care i for that ?

licking the sores of incapacity

humility is not sweet

a dusky tulip

or autumn leaf

half slicked with water

she carries a jewel

-  herself  -

from the fish to the moon

no word of criticism

understanding is not

in the realm of love

somehow essential

this fruitless giving

vast brown hills

silence in the distance
