Sayjin:This is the normal stage of ever living breathing person from the planet Vegeta. Saiya-jins strive for power. After each battle they get stronger and stronger. After recovering from a fatal wound their power increases dramatically. Traditional color for a saiya-jins hair is black.
Super Sayjin:This is a very advanced stage of saiya-jin. To reach this level a saiya-jin must be pure-hearted and must NEED to reach SSJ, even though having a high power level is a key ingredient in becoming a SSJ.

Super Sayjin 2:In this stage a saiya-jin's hair becomes more spiky and grows longer. His power also rises a lot along with his muscles bulging out. A disadvantage to this stage is that the sayjin becomes slower.

Super Saiya-jin 3:In this stage the saiya-jins hair becomes very long. The saiya-jin starts to lose their humanity and forget whats right or wrong. To be driven to this stage the saiya-jin must get really upset.

Super Saiya-jin 4: This stage was not created by Akira Toriyama, it is a stage created by fans and by the new writers of DBGT. In this stage a saiya-jin's hair is very very long but is not blonde like the other stages, it returns black. Also in this stage the saiya-jin's eyes are red, and he regrows his tail.
