The golden age of Marathi cinema saw the birth of some of the finest music composed in this century. The architects of this musical renaissance were the “trimurti” of the Marathi film industry, Vasant Prabhu, Vasant Desai and Vasant Pawar. Spectrum Multimedia presents to the Maharashtrian community worldwide ‘VASANT BAHAR’, a show presenting the original melodic style of this talented trio, in their amazing glory.

 Vasant Bahar contains a combination of immemorial Marathi films songs from Vasant Desai, melodious bhavgeet from Vasant Prabhu and lawani songs from Vasant Pawar. While presenting these songs one can feel the impact of their personal life on their compositions. In fact, the songs in this show have been selected in such a way that besides highlighting their artistic features, they help us in understanding their personalities.

 It took nearly a year to prepare this show and the finest compositions were selected along with information from colleague musicians, recordists etc. The show features presentations from talented singers and musicians with the compare taking us on magical journey through this vast wonderland of their illustrious careers.
