MAGMOOR CAVERNS
Go through the door in front of you. Drop down and proceed. Go through the, "Burning Trail," and you'll soon get a cutscene showing that you have entered, "Magmoor Caverns."
In, "Lava Lake," hop around the platforms and you'll see some crates. Get rid of the crates then Morph Ball Bomb the wall behind where the crates used to be. Now, it's just a matter of working your way through the various rooms until you get to the, "Transport to Phendrana Drifts North." Activate the Blue Switch and take the elevator up.
BOOST BALL
Go through a few doors and such and you'll get a cutscene showing that you have entered, "Phendrana Drifts." It's a pretty snow-world...isn't it? Anyway, you'll show that you have detected a Save Room. Seek it out and Save.
Now, locate the gate that consists of bars running diagonally forming a kind of hole in the center. Shoot a Missile at it. Go in, and unlock the door that is directly above you. Now, hop on up the snow platforms against the cliff wall and over to that door and enter.
Soon, you'll be in, "Ice Ruins East." Hop on onto the Ruins (the only thing you can really jump on) and work your way around to the only other door. Go through the hallway with the burrowing snow monsters (Ice Burrower) and out the door. You'll see that you're above now, in "Phendrana Shorelines." Head to your left and into the door there.
Continue on and you'll be in, "Ice Ruins West." Take the left pathway and go to the door that you need a Missile to get through. Go in. This will lead you to the Canyon.
You are now in, "Phendrana Canyon." Drop down and then look for a little snow ramp on your right which leads you to a Blue Switch. Activate it and the platforms will be realigned. Hop across. You have gained the BOOST BALL!
Now, use the half-pipe canyon to get up the side path to the door that you came in. At this point, you'll get some incoming Scan Data which searches for other half-pipes. It found one in, "Tallon Overworld." This is near where you originally landed. So, it's your job now to backtrack all the way back there.
BACKTRACKING TO TALLON OVERWORLD
Here's some detailed backtrack directions: exit, "Phendrana Drifts," and take the elevator down to, "Magmoor Caverns." In, "Transport Tunnel A," just cruise right across. Work your through, "Triclops Pit," and back to the, "Lava Lake." And, eventually, back to, "Transport to Chozo Ruins North." Save along the way in the Save Room off of the, "Burning Trail." Now, you're in the good ol' Chozo Ruins. Head back to the, "Main Plaza," and go through the door you originally came through when you first entered this area. Go straight and you'll get to, "Transport to Tallon Overworld North." Take this elevator.
