Simon Baker, who has appeared in several hit Australian films as well as some of Australia's most popular television series, made his American television debut in THE GUARDIAN. The Australian-born actor received a Golden Globe nomination for his performance in the first season of the series. He won Australia's prestigious Logie Award for Most Popular New Talent in 1992 and was an AFI Award nominee for his work in the Australian film "Men's Secret Business."

Shortly thereafter, Baker moved to Los Angeles with his family and was cast in the Academy Award-winning film "L.A. Confidential." He recently starred opposite Hilary Swank in the period drama "The Affair of the Necklace" and is currently filming "Night in Phnom Penh."

His other film credits include "Red Planet," "Sunset Strip," "Ride with the Devil," "Judas Kiss," "Restaurant" and "Love from Ground Zero."

Baker lives in Malibu, California, with his wife and children. His birth date is July 30.

Wendy Moniz starred with Jack Lemmon and Hank Azaria in the Emmy Award-winning television film "Tuesdays with Morrie" and was a regular in the final season of "Nash Bridges," on CBS. Her other primetime series credits include "Partners" and "Battery Park." For several years, Moniz played the role of Dinah Marler on GUIDING LIGHT.

Her stage credits include "Grease," "Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat" and "Agnes of God," all at the Durfee Theatre in Fall River, Massachusetts.

Moniz was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and raised in Fall River. She lives in New York with her actor husband, stepson and two dogs. Her birth date is January 19.
