I've been a Backstreet Boys
Site web master for pretty two years now and I've collected many questions
that are asked over and over again. Then there are some I will think will
be asked. Here are some question and answers that will hopefully help you.
1. Where
did you get your pictures from?? I've never seen them before!
2. Where
can I get a hold of the Backstreet Boys?
3. Why don't
you make a newsletter for your site?
4. Why don't
some of the images work on your site?
5. The JAVA
stuff won't work for me. What's wrong?
6. There
are all these little drawings all over the place. Are they yours?
7. Do I
need ICQ Plus to run the ICQ Skins?
8. Can you
tell me how to make a BSB site? If not could you make me one?
9. Why are

you know that you have some spelling mistakes?

Q: Where
did you get your pictures from?? I've never seen them before!
A: I have the luck to have
a scanner. They're pictures from my magazines and I was able to scan them
for my site.
Q: Where
can I get a hold of the Backstreet Boys?
A: You can look for their
fan club addresses on the official web site. Sorry, I don't have any means
of contact with them.
Q: Why
don't you make a newsletter for your site?
A: I don't have the time
and if other people wanted to help for a newsletter, I would still have
the clear the information. I can be very strict about what I release to
the public. That goes for Pen Pals as well. I don't have the time or patience.
And also partly because I'm lazy.
Q: Why don't
some of the images work on your site?
A: Probably because the
server is messed up or I messed up. Just report that to my Problems
section and I will try to fix the problem ASAP. Thanks for the warning.
Q: The JAVA
stuff won't work for me. What's wrong?
A: Probably because you're
browser can't handle JAVA. You can go to www.netscape.com
to get a better browser that can handle JAVA. You could probably just use
MIE, but I'm part of the Anti-Microsoft movement (Give me a Mac any day!)
and I don't support them so I don't make my websites easily compatable
to MIE. Sorry. It's a "religious" thing. *grin*
Q: There
are all these little drawings all over the place. Are they yours?
A: You betcha'. I've loved
to draw ever since I could pick up a pencil.
Q: Do I need
ICQ Plus to run the ICQ Skins?
A: Yes you do. The ICQ Plus
is like a plug in that enables your ICQ tray to show the pictures.
Q: Can you
tell me how to make a BSB site? If not could you make me one?
A: Oh *sigh*. I've
been asked that many times and with how much patience and time it takes
I can't make everyone their own page. If one payed me enough money I can
put you on a list but web design isn't something I just slap stick together.
If you wish to create your own site you can do it hands on (Playing with
the codes and figuring it out) or find internet tutorials. http://www.andyart.com

is an excellent place. I learned tones about JAVA there and you can learn
about HTML, JAVA, images, getting people into your site etc. And there
are also an array of free images for your site! Also if you really want
to attempt creating a site, BE PATIENT! It really isn't the easiest thing
on Earth at first. You can also cheat and use an editor, but even if you
use an editor make it a goal to learn the actual HTML, just in case.
Ps- If you begin making a
web site, AVOID putting dark blue on black! People cannot read it!
Rozzie's tip of the day! It bothers me and several other users to know
end when they have to squint to get through a website!
Q: Why are
the Backstreet Boys so hot?
A: You can look at it two
ways. The Genetic way and the Spiritual way.
Genetic: Because
their parent's are good lookin',
Spiritual: God
decided to be nice.
Q: Did you
know that you have some spelling mistakes?
A: I probably do. I suck
at spelling! And the spell checker isn't 100% reliable. Go bug my friend

Q: How'd
you make all those cool graphics???
A: Adobe
Photoshop! It is an awesome program!
Q: I saw
you have some pictures that were split into pieces. Is there a function
in photoshop to do that?
Q: Your
site's HTML is very complicated. Did you write it all?
A: *Snickers* Nope!
I use an editor. The more recent versions of Netscape will have an HTML
edtior program, which is what I am using. I could probably write 90% of
this stuff without using the editor but it's really aggravating to write
HTML from scrap with a site of this magnatude. I also hate writing the
codes for complex table cells!
Q: You mentioned
that some of your files are watermarked. What is a watermark?
A: Watermarks are
programs woven into the image. Instead of writting 'Scanned By Roz E' on
the picture, which totally destroys it, I have a program which states my
rights to the scanned image. You can access the Watermark through many
paint programs. If I really felt like it I can buy the tracking program
for it but I guess I'll be nice with my images. They're marked as "Royalty
Free" so you do have permission to take them as you please, but I just
like to know when people are snatching stuff from my site because I wanna
make sure you give my site credit. :o) You can read the right's claim here,

Q: WHY DO
KEVIN AND BRIAN HAVE TO GET MARRIED??
A: Look. If you
found that one special person; and you knew you could love them and knowing
that nothing else would matter then all of a sudden the world denied to
you two to get married because some quarrelsome teenyboppers think that
your love is properly what would you think? I'll just say this and I'm
saying this clear, Get over it! They're getting married! They have one
that one person that is special in their life and they can love them knowing
that nothing else matters and I F***ing support them because they deserve
that one constant. Get over it. I am frustrasted with you people. >:o(
Q: How did
you get the video clips from SMTMOBL?
A: At first, I got
them out of a newsletter and from backstreet.net. After we got the image
capturing hooked up and working properly at school, I got the pictures
from there... unfortunately I stopped because people were noticing and
bugging me about it. lol.
