Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine:
Tian Shian
Deep in the heart of Asia lurk bulletproof wolves and snow-capped mountains honeycombed with raging rivers that plunge past ancient shrines. The major point of interest, though, may be a creaky elevator.
From the start, frighten the wolf with a pistol shot or the Bullwhip. Head downhill to this bridge, which you can only reach by leaping from a nearby ledge.
Before you reach the guard tower, take the trail to the left. Elude the wolf, climb to a ledge and pick off the guards. Jump to the tower.
Eliminate the two unvigilant guards at the bottom of the ladder. Flip the switch and search outdoors for additional guards. Don't forget to pick up droped ammo before returning inside.
With adversaries safely out of the way, leap from a crate to this air duct. It leads to a locker room with the raft.
Much of Tian Shian is taken up by Indy rubber-rafting down a bewildering network of rivers with even more bewildering water physics. Prepare to paddle aggessively, even when it looks like you're in the midst of rapids. Save your game every time you collect an item.
After running the first rapids, paddle through the waterfall to collect a treasure in the cave.
At virtually indiscernible changes in the current, Indy will switch his paddling direction between forward and backward.
Should Indy's flimsy Russian-made raft spring a leak, he can always ransack the guards' locker for an limitless supply of Raft Repair Kits. Simply take the creaky old elevator at river's end and run uphill.
If Indy springs a noisy leak and all the yellow drains from the air meter in the lower-right hand corner, he'll become a piece of ancient history, just like his relics.
