ERR is 100% volunteer based.

No salaries are paid to directors or volunteers.

We do pay for professional services benefitting the horses.

Colleen Segarra is founder and president of ERR. Don't be surprised to find her picking paddocks, feeding, transporting or holding horses for the farrier. Hands on is the best way to be!

Our Location

The horses are sheltered at various farms and facilities through New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Horses needs are assessed prior to arrival when possible, so that they are placed at the most appropriate facility with space available. At this time, the organization does not own a farm, and relies on their volunteer network and leased lands.

Correspondence can be sent to either the local or corporate mailing address, however mail sent to the local address will reach us quicker.
