ON-LINE HELP AND TUTORIALS

WaterCAD has a comprehensive on-line help system and exceptional on-line tutorials to help you learn the program as you use it. Instead of searching through a bulky manual for answers, just right click on anything and open context-sensitive help instantaneously. On-line help is available in all Haestad Methods' Windows programs, including CulvertMaster, FlowMaster, StormCAD, and WaterCAD also have built-in on-line tutorials to help you learn the program. Please note that these features are similar for all of these programs, so screen captures are not provided for each one.

  • Follow the arrows as you click your way through the tutorials. You aren't watching a series of bitmapped slides, or trying to follow a printed manual - you're actually using the software as you learn.
  • Use the one-minute tutorial to gain familiarity with the program the first time you use it.
  • Once you are comfortable with the Windows interface and modelling environment, run the more detailed tutorials for an in-depth look at some of the features.
  • The comprehensive on-line help system offers context-sensitive help on every topic, from hydraulic theory, to data input, to detailed reporting.

Just click on the "Help" button from any screen, press the key at any time, or right click with the mouse to open the help system. If the answer you're looking for doesn't appear immediately, type a keyword into the index and let the help system retrieve the answers you need.
