Life Cycle

In this section you can learn more about the life cycle of the angiosperms.

First the angiosperm produces reproductive organs. The male organ being the stamen, and the female organ being the pistil.
Next the stamens produce grains of pollen that carry sperm to the pistil.
When the pistil and sperm fertilize the ovules they become fruit. The fruit can be either hard and dry (nut) or soft and fleshy ( berry). The fruit contains the seeds than can be planted to form a new plant.
Now the process can go on and on for generations to come.
