| First the angiosperm
produces reproductive organs. The male organ being the stamen, and the female organ being
the pistil. |
| Next the stamens produce grains of
pollen that carry sperm to the pistil. |
| When the pistil and sperm
fertilize the ovules they become fruit. The fruit can be either hard and dry (nut) or soft
and fleshy ( berry).The fruit contains the seeds than can be planted to form a new plant. |
| Now the process can go on and on
for generations to come. |
