Back in summer of 2000, Alice Bluejean, Miss Leed,
Frankie Frame and Critical Mass teamed up to create
a perfectly chilling tale.
It all started at a party held by Kate Roberts.
Belle began exhibiting uncharacteristic behavior
that night, but her parents were too distracted
by Kate's shooting to realize what was truly happening
to their daughter.
Only Celeste Perrault acknowledged the presance of evil,
but no one would believe her until it was too late.
Belle continued to act usually,
suffering from severe depression one moment,
and appearing in a state of euphoria the next.
We later discovered that Belle had learned of her
father's past as a mercenary who posed as a priest
while he worked for Stefano DiMera.
This caused Belle to lose her trust and faith
in John, leavinig her soul weak enough for the
demon to invade.
One stormy night, Belle was lost for good.
While possessed, she carried out a reign of terror
which included burning down DotCom with Philip and Shawn
inside, throwing Brady out of a window, crippling Dr. Rolf,
attacking John, Celeste and Taylor, causing Jan to
go bald, causing Father Francis' second stroke
and finally kidnapping baby Isaac and almost killing him in a huge bonfire.
The demon wanted the spirit of John Black's true son,
a child conceived in pure sin.
Fortunately, Celeste, Caroline and Father Reymond
managed to locate the vacant lot where a possessed Belle
was preparing for a final sacrafice.
Father Reymond crawled to the center of the bonfire
and pleaded for the demon to take his soul, which
it did. Belle managed to escape with Isaac just in time,
but Father Rey was never seen again.
