Do not include in your search
words such generalized terms as American Legion,
Post, United States, etc. Because this is an American Legion
website, these
terms exist on all of our 180+ pages, and will result in multiple
search results. |

Avoid Post
Numbers |
Do not include in your search
the number of the Post you are searching for such as 119,
because our site contains thousands of Post addresses, ZIP codes,
and phone numbers.
If you enter 119, the results may include the Post,
but they will also include the number
119 joined together anywhere in any of these addresses,
ZIP codes, or phone numbers. |

One Word
Works Best |
If you are searching for a
Post in San Antonio, enter the single word Antonio.
If you include the word San...returns containing cities such
as San Angelo, San Bruno,
San Jose, San Francisco, San Juan Island...and
Posts with addresses such as
San Angelo Highway, San Christopher Drive, etc...will cause
multiple search results. |

Do not join
Search Words
together. |
Do not join words such as
Post 119 Gulfport together into Post119Gulfport
It is best to use only one word such as Gulfport

Website. |
Most of the tips above also
apply to searching on the Internet. However, if you
think we may have a link to another Internet website, try entering
