Juliet Landau

I know that you've  almost definitely heard all of this before in some other biography or some transcript or other, and I apologize ahead of time for that. Unfortunately, until Juliet gives me an exclusive interview (and we all know when THAT will happen) all I can give you is a few regurgitated facts about the woman behind the fangs.

Birth date: (If you can tell me, I'll put it up)
Birthplace: Southern California, USA
Current Residence: Probably Los Angeles, California, USA

As everyone knows, Juliet Landau is the daughter of Martin Landau and Barbara Bain - both accomplished actors themselves. She trained as a ballerina before falling in love with acting, a fact made obvious by her tell-tale thin, well muscled physique. She has performed with various dance companies throughout Southern California including Southern California Ballet, and is also an accomplished choreographer.

As an actor, Juliet Landau has compiled an impressive number of credits. Her most widely seen film being ED WOOD (one of my favourite Tim Burton movies) where she played b-movie actress Loretta King. Juliet has said that her parents have always been very supportive of her chosen vocation, and that the three use each other as sounding boards when they are preparing for a role.

I don't think I have to tell you that Drusilla's accent is not Juliet's own and is probably a product of many hours of practising with a dialect coach. I must take a moment to give Juliet Landau proper kudos for her brilliant portrayal of Drusilla - a character that could be very difficult to make sympathetic or likeable. She has done both and more and if Dru is only the very tip of the iceberg, then Juliet Landau is destined for greatness, I'm sure!
