Chapter Vision Statement:
The Peoria Barbershop Chapter is diverse in membership. To that extent we strive to
provide each of our members with a barbershop experience that fulfills his purpose, be it camaraderie, fun, fellowship,
singing knowledge, community service, competitive experiences, community outreach, or personal growth. As a chorus (team)
we strive to embrace each individual's goals through a structured weekly program designed to meet each individual's wants
and needs.
Chapter Mission Statement:
- To perpetuate the barbershop harmony music art form.
- To provide and promote for the members and potential members vocal harmony opportunities such as, but not
limited to, quartetting, vocal production instruction, chorus rehearsals and performances, competitive ensemble preparation
and participation, and vocal coaching.
- To encourage public awareness of barbershop harmony through community performances and charity contributions.
- To promote fellowship and camaraderie among its members.
- To practice stated Barbershop Harmony Society musical ideals and principles.
