Sheriff Danahar (Glen Ford) is the law in the town of Randado.
A tough old cowboy with a swift trigger-finger, many resent his authority, including Phil Sundeen (Jeff Kaake), son of a wealthy
cattle rancher. When Danahar's dupty, Kirby Fre (Cody Glenn), arrests two rustlers on Sundeen land, he lights a powder trail
of death and distruction that explodes in the face of the law. Little does Dunahar suspect that Sundeen heads the rustlers'
gan-and so long as he has the support of the cool-killing attorney, Clay Jordon (Russell Todd), no one can touch him. But
when Sundeen's mistress (Charlene Tilton) Suduces the seek young gunslinger, his corrupt empire begins to crumble. Danahar
and Frye uncover the truth about his illicit cattle business and the Sundeen'g gang flee to Mexico where the law can't touch
them. It is up to the two lawmen to remove their badges and cross the border for a final bloody confrontation-the shootout
at the border.
