Shiro
Shiro is an enigma. He first showed up when he helped save Amelia and Karista from a Dark Elf assassin, but little else is really known. He claims to have no memory of his past life, and that he can barely remember his own name. Shiro also said that he'd had a mission from Teran to find Amelia...but the rest is unknown. Also unknown is whether or not he's trustworthy, or if everything he says (or rather, thinks-he can only communicate telepathically) is the truth. Shiro was transformed into a demon by Doren, so he's guiding the sisters to where Teran is being held. After learning Karista's secret, he's become more protective of her. Personality: Shiro seems a bit tormented. Because of the spell on him, and having been exposed to the Black Mist for so long, Shiro's memories have been vanishing. He does remember parts of his past, but they are clearly unpleasant memories, ones that were already haunting him in his former life. He doesn't wish to speak of them, and so he keeps to himself. Comments: For a long time, Shiro was my favorite character as I began to write. His character is complex, and at the moment, can't be revealed (too many spoilers!), but so far, that's not a bad thing. The mystery of him is intriguing enough for him to be fighting with Amelia for the most votes in the character poll. He was really hard to draw, though, and I started drawing him long before his first appearence. Those wings were rough. Shiro was constantly retooled and touched up so that by the time he made his debut, he looked MUCH better than the rest of the cast. A note on his name-I first named him without knowing I'd actually used a real Japanese word. I was interested to find that it meant both "Death" and "White." Hmmm...good for naming patterns^_^
