Why I decided to have a page devoted to Miguel Ayesa I wanted to give a personal insight on who Miguel is... and since I don't know him super well, I can only tell you what I've found from a few brief encounters with him at RENT, and what I've discovered from e-mails and one brief phone call.
Miguel is a highly charismatic person. He's also talented beyond belief. He's a real "Happy go lucky" kind of guy who always has a kind word or a warm hug to brighten up your day. Miguel would have no idea just how much his small gestures mean to people. He will never understand or comprehend what he's done for me. He's sweet, compassionate, easy going, warm and just all over a fantastic man. Miguel is one of the most wonderful human beings that God ever created and I feel HONOURED to be an aquaintance of his. Miguel... we wish you all the luck in the world, because you deserve it |

What is MiG up to at the moment? Currently MiG is performing his role as "Joe (Jose) Vegas" in the musical version of "FAME". "FAME" opened in Sydney on July 29th and will be moving to Melbourne late December 1999/early January 2000.
From all accounts so far MiG is absolutely knocking them dead...adn we knew he would! Good Luck MiG and we'll be sure to come along and see you in FAME!!! Miguel has also been pretty busy with fashion parades apparently! He has been seen in Sydney Fashion shows for "Jeans for Genes Day" "Speak Out" and "General Pants Co." joined by other RENT cast members. Make sure you check out the photo's I have!!! *yay* And you might want to go and get "SAIN" Sanity Music's Free Mag, as it has a *very tiny* picture of Miguel in it...and a great shot of Prinnie Stevens too! Miguel also recently did a gig in Sydney. He did mainly covers, but from what I've heard, it was FANTASTIC! He was even joined at one stage by Peter Murphy! Wish I had have caught that one guys!!! *** MAKE SURE YOU CHECK OUT *** Miguel's OFFICIAL Fan Club bought to you by two friends of MiG's *and thanks to MiG now my friends too!*... it includes sooo much more information than you ever dreamed of! It has great photo's and articles... the MUST SEE Site for any Miguel FAN!!!! Well done Laura and Nat! It was WELL worth the wait!!!!!! You two are so "RAH" *in your words!* *** COMING SOON *** Keep your eye out for Miguel in Melbourne from 26/12/99 When FAME makes it's way down to Marvellous Melbourne!!! Also, I intend on putting some info up from my trip to Sydney in two weeks time... I'm going to see Miguel perform in FAME, and hopefully will be able to add some more to this site!!! |
