Five days in the Bahamas is enough to excite just about everyone. Ever since I brought my mom our in January, she has
been itching to get back, and this was perfect timing. The week was full of swimming, shopping, tanning, long walks, fish
viewing and fine dining. The highlight of the trip was my actual Birthday, we went on a full day excursion with Powerboat
Adventure....the best thing the Bahamas has to offer. We sped to the Exuma Cays on a 1000 horsepower speedboat. On our first
stop, Allan's Cay, we were greeted by hundreds of hungry iguanas waiting to be fed their daily grapes. They wait patiently
on the beach and actually show excitement when you arrive. It was amazing!!! Then it was on to their private island, Ship
Channel Cay. Here we went on a nature walk, snorkled with both tropical reef fish and sharks, fed stingrays and sharks, ate
a wonderful lunch, relaxed on the beach and in the gentle tides and even was accompanied by the islands friendly wild boar,
Stones, who comes every day for the party. He eats hot dogs, drinks beer, swims and loves the ladies. It was one of the best
experiences of my life and I still keep playing back every moment in my mind. This was an amazing birthday trip and I am very
happy to share my memories with all of you. (You can click on the pictures to make them bigger)
