On Friday night, January 21st, 2005, I boarded a Virgin flight bound for Heathrow. I was going to spend the week with
James, visiting England for the seventh time and Amsterdam for the fourth. We spent the first night in London in the glorious
Lanesborough, London's top hotel. While in London I did my traditional invasion of Harrods, saw the new amazing musical Mary
Poppins (it was a close call for a sold out show, but my concierge got me a second row seat) and I saw Cirque's Dralion. We
spent a few days at his mum's house in Southern England. I got to see Exeter, where his new classes are, fossil hunt in Charmouth,
walk the seaside streets of Lyme Regis, drive through the magnificent Chedder Gorge, visit Cerne Abbas to see the mysterious
Rude Giant hillside carving, see the Magna Carta at Salisbury Cathedael and vist Oxford. I got to see many places in Oxford
where they film the Harry Potter movies which did warrent a single fangirl squeal.
I also spent three nights at the famed Hotel de L'Europe in Amsterdam. I FINALLY visited the Anne Frank House. James
and I went on a fun canal cruise (I always like looking in other peoples houseboats), visited the royal palace, did two walks
through the Red Light District, visited the Hemp Museum and spent A LOT OF TIME shopping and hanging out in coffeeshops. It
was an awesome trip!

Please enjoy my pictures. They were all taken with my digital camera since it is winter, the skies are somewhat grey
and that does not make for superior black and whites. There are Amsterdam scenic pictures, England scenic pictures and Robyn
and James pictures with a fun Christmas bonus. Enjoy and please write with your comments!
