"How to Keep People's Email Address's Private When Mass Mailing"
I would print this for ready reference
I get so much mail with a lot of people's Email Addresses
showing. This isn't fair to that person.
Someone with illegal intentions could grab those
names for theirselves and use them.
Here is how to protect that person's Address.
You would be surprised at the amount of people
that don't know this.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When you got up to Forward an email (like a joke)
to a group of people, you will see this box
I think your message might not have the Header, Bcc:
See where the arrow is above? To get it to show, click on All Headers.
You will only have to do this one time. While your there, go ahead
and click on Status Bar, and Source Edit.
You will need that for Previewing your message
before your send it.
Now you will have them on as in the below image.
OH! Some people have said that they didn't see the Attach: Header.
You won't until you go up to Insert/File Attachment and click on
that to find the file you want to attach/send
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now to Put your Addresses in.
In the above window, click on To:
You will see the below
Double click on your name (that's what I do) Then click OK
Now in the top window again, click on Bcc:
and you will see this below
Now go down your list and Double Click on everyone you want to send to.
Their names will automatically go in the Bcc: box.
In my case, I have everyone on my Stationery List in one Folder.
Sure save me a lot of work. I would hate to have to Double Click
over 700 times every morning. My finger would get pretty tired. Haha.
After you have done that, click on OK.
Walla!! Now you can send it with no other persons name or address
showing. The only name they will see is yours.
If you want to make a folder like that, then go to the below page
(Click on above to go there)
Anyway!
After you have put everyone in the Bcc box, hit OK.
you will now see this below.
Hope I have helped you in protecting the addresses of other people.
Send this page to everyone you know.
