elcome to the County of Rowan-Oak, a dominion of the Duchy of Rhododendrons in the Kingdom of Willows.
Rowan-Oak was established formally at the Treaty of Concord, where High King David ratified the
Kingdoms of Concordia and their Seelie rulership. Remote from many of the
larger affairs of the kingdom, the county is content with its obscurity, hoping to
avoid the troubles and intrigues which plague the Willow King's lands.
Note that the Countess Rosamund ap Fiona and her nobles uphold the Escheat.
Fae who violate its tenets will find themselves unwelcome.

In-Character Chat
Rather than a dedicated chat room for each possible setting, Rowan-Oak features two, HTML-based chats, one theoretically for more social scenes, the other for dynamic scenes, although really, anything can be played there. Open the Rowan-Oak Chat or the Dynamic Chat in a new window.
Player Resources on this site
Aside from the settings and chats, and the thumbnail guide on this page, here are a few potentially useful items I've added over the years.
Cantrip Casting Guide - an overview of cantrip systems, countermagic, Arts, Realms and Bunks
Fencing: the Art of the Blade - a look at a more refined sort of swordplay, including many specail maneuvers, with systems lifed from Mage: The Sorcerer's Crusade but equally applicable to Changeling. World of Darkness: Combat gives similar systems, but I prefer these for stressing dynamic elements and putting less emphasis on number-crunching.
The Code of the Duel: Dance of Honor - there is much more to declaring and fighting a legitimate duel than slapping your foe with a glove and drawing cold steel; here is the procedure as followed by the Seelie Court in Rowan-Oak, and by Unseelie fae who wish to remain within the law
A Herald's Guide to the Principal Noble Houses - a visual guide to recognizing the armorial insignia of the Seelie and Unseelie nobility as well as a brief account of each exiled house, its place in the county, and systems for playing each. Attatched is a Roll of Arms displaying the heraldic insignia of each titled noble in the county.
Player Resources on other sites
The following two sites offer a wealth of Changeling resources.
Scattered Dreams: This website offers extended information on almost every aspect of the game, including FAQ's, descriptions of the various types of changelings, information on Arts and Realms, and of course links to even more Changeling stuff.
The Moonlit Trod: Also listed on my Trods page, this website must be seen to be appreciated. One of the oldest and best-known Changeling fansites on the Web, with resources too numerous to mention. Visit, and plan to stay a while.
