Hello, this site is for the 4-H group Shooting Stars in Stanislaus County, Ca. If you are a family with children between 5 and 18, and live in the Modesto/Oakdale/Tracy area, please read on!

We are a 4-H group of mostly home schooled families, and have what we call Super Project Days. We have a program for primary children (ages 5 to 9), but greatly encourage older kids and teens to come and get to know each other.

Once a month on Fridays we meet at the Modesto Ag Center from about 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, depending on what projects will be taking place. We have an annual sign-up meeting in September for new families to get orientated.

We offer many projects, which are like classes, where kids learn new things. See Projects page for more info. We are seeking volunteers to help lead projects and classes, and each parent or older family member is invited to help.
