This newest of daytime dramas will celebrate its first birthday in July. Of the original cast members, Diane Van Der Vlis and Frank Latimore left the show when their characters, Nell Beaulac and Ed Coleridge, were killed off. Rosalind Guerra "disappeared" as Ramona Gonzalez after Rosa married in real life. Ty McDonnell will soon be leaving as psychotic Ken Castle. New faces on the show in recent months include Julia Barr and Dennis Jay Higgins. Kate Mulgrew did a commercial for, appropriately enough, Irish Spring soap this year, as well as several TV specials. And Nancy Addison and Faith Catlin both appeared in off-Broadway plays. Michael Hawkins was almost written off the show, but he's so popular with the views he'll probably be on for quite some time.
