Reaching 100 Scripts is the Perfect Reason

Ryan's Hope, newest daytime serial, couldn't wait for its' first anniversary, July 7, to have the traditional party. Instead, it had it's fort backstage party on the day it aired it 100th script.

the actors and crew milled around the third floor of the bit ABC studio where Dark Shadows was one telecast, and they sipped drinks, nibbled on food, talked and laughed for a couple of hours.

Helen Gallagher had to leave early to attend rehearsals of a new play . . . Justin Deas, who wasn't on the show that day, came with his little daughter . . . Kate Mulgrew wore a fedora and clowned . . . Ilene Kristen, who's always teased about her long blonde hair, donned a black wig . . .everybody chatted confidentially about the show's upcoming anniversary party . . . And everybody agreed: "We like parties!"
