DAYLIGHT SPOTLIGHT

RYAN'S HOPE
Premiere Date: July 7, 1975

Congratulations to EARL HINDMAN! Sometime in June or July, he'll marry Molly M., a young woman he met while making a movie in Kansas City...

There are some new folks in river side, guaranteed to stir real intrigue! First welcome NANCY COLEMAN, who is seen in the role of Sister Mary Joel. Nancy is the widow of the late newspaper columnist Whitney Bolton. Besides appearing on The Edge of Night and the now defunct Where the Heart is, she had traveled extensively throughout the United States with stage tours. Luckily for Ryan's Hope fans, the talented Ms. Coleman has decided to settle down for a while! ... By the way, the actress who originated the role of Sister Mary Joel, SYLVIA SYDNEY had only a brief run in the Broadway show, Me Jack, You Jill. Unfortunately, the production was limited by bad reviews...Also new toe R.H. is BRUCE WEITZ, portraying Assistant District Attorney, Bernard Levine.

Watch for MICHAEL HAWKINS in the newly released film, Truckin' Man... HELEN GALLAGHER, who celebrates her birthday July 19, in in rehearsals for a new Broadway venture ... Happy birth to ROSALINDA GUERRA (ex-Ramona Gonzalaz), July 24.

THE STORYLINE

Unable to see his wife in agony, Seneca pulled the plug on Nell's lifesaving device in the hospital. Roger saw the incident and reported it. Seneca expects to be brought up on charges. Roger is having affair with Delia. She knows that Frank no longer loves her and as a act of revenge, has refused to campaign and make public appearance in his bid for election. Frank and Jill have agreed to no longer be seen in public, since scandal could have a devastating effect on his chances at public office. Jack finally admitted he is falling in love with Mary. She wants marriage, but will not force the issue. Jack is very jealous over Sam's obvious affection for Mary.

Associate Producer, Monroe Carroll (l) find working with actor Dennis Jay Higgins a pleasure--though his Sam Crowell character isn't well-loved.

Beautiful Nancy Addison openly admitted there's a new man in her life. He's Howard Linker, a man she describes as being "into a little bit of everything."
