In this highly competitive scenario where the slimmest margins separate the best from the rest, SAE – The Society of Automotive Engineers has provided a forum for broad range of technologies in the field of mobility on land, sea, air and space.

As you are aware Delhi College of Engineering occupies pivotal position in the ocean of engineering institutions in the country. The S.A.E student chapter of Delhi College of Engineering started in 1995 and in the short span of just 7 years it has grown at a phenomenal rate to be one of the largest chapters in the world and the largest in India. 

SAE-DCE has been a role model for other upcoming chapters in India. Our achievements include the launch of SAE-India website and SAE-India newsletter. SAE plays an active part in organising MACH – A national level technical meet organised by the mechanical department of Delhi College of Engineering. The SAE-DCE chapter is also due to get an industrial project from Maruti Udyog Ltd.   Keeping up with our tradition of quality activities the SAE-DCE chapter had recently organised a national level vehicle design competition named Chimera in September 2001.
