Selected South Carolina Loyalist and/or Tory Biographies

Biographical sketches are accessible by hyperlink for the eleven men listed below.   These people actively supported the Loyalist Cause in the South Carolina Backcountry during the Revolution.  Many of these men had some relationship to the Tory, John Mayfield of Browns Creek.  Where applicable, each sketch includes a transcript of the official claim that was submitted to the British Government for losses experienced by the Loyalist during the Revolution.
