Failte
Failte means Welcome In Gaelic...
And I do bid you Welcome.
This page is for two things I love...well if you want to get technical...four...but anyway *lol*. I *Love* Celtic Knots. There are a couple of my hand-drawn, computer manipulated ones, and a couple of my compter generated ones. The other main thing here that I *Love* are claddaghs. I have a claddagh, which I never remove. It was the last birthday present my mother ever gave me. It was all I wanted for my birthday...and that's exactly what she gave me. Anyway it is one of three pieces of jewelry I never remove.. The other two minor things this page gives me a chance to love, lol are making web pages and links!!!! *lol* These links are you pages that belong to other people and I am not respnsible for any content on them. I found them interesting at the time I visited them and thought that I would share them with you.
Celtic Knots
These are two of *My* hand-drawn knots and some computer generated ones. Smiles. The two that say Leah75, were hand-drawn by me and then edited using PSP. I am very proud of them...and I will add some more as soon as I get them edited. Please *Do Not* copy these images...I spent hours drawing them and still more hours editing...and they are *Mine*. I am by no means a professional at celtic knots...I simply love them...and enjoy drawing them...I can get lost in the knots...and when I draw them...it is as though the knot is already there I simply have to make the right marks to bring it out...I can see what I am working towards in my mind...It's actually very strange and wonderful... The originals of these two were done in pencil and then detailed with a black sharpi's and ink. Below are some celtic links I have found. I have spent hours searching online...*lol* and I think some of them of are pretty good. There is a lot of information anyway. *Smiles*.
Please click on the smaller image to view the larger one. And remember, please *Do Not* steal these graphics!!!! *They Are Mine*. They *May Not* be copied, they may not used for ANY reason be it private or public. *They May Not* be added to *Any* collection be it private or public. I simple wanted to share them with you. Thank you. The first two are my hand drawn knots...the others were completely generated and manipulated using the computer.

Claddaghs
As I said earlier I wear a claddagh always...I shower in it, sleep in it, It is one of my treasured posessions. Mine is silver, I do not wear gold as a rule. And in the heart on mine is an emerald. Claddaghs are considered the Irish wedding ring, and I consider them special for the mixture of beauty, tradition, and lore. These are some links that I found about Claddaghs. The legend of the Claddagh is told in different ways...and there are several different versions among these links...and there are some other very interesting things in here as well. *Smiles* please enjoy.
