My name is Mike Moy and I've been the owner of Shaw's Auto Parts & Performance Center since 1993.

Prior to becoming the owner, I managed 2 locations of Shaw's since the mid '70s.

The Shaw's name has been synonomous with performance since the original Shaw brothers, Bruce and Terry, started their 'Speed Shops' during the glory years of the muscle car.

As fuel economy and emission concerns changed the marketplace, most 'speed shops' found they had to diversify their product lines to survive. The move to carrying regular auto parts and supplies was a natural one and has helped to insure the continued operation of many shops, including ours.

But not all.

The last decade or so has found a few mail order companies rise to dominance at the expenses of many small local shops.
With their size allowing them to have aggressive pricing policies, many shops have been unable to meet the challenge.
There was a time when almost every town had its own performance shop, but not anymore.

We can't hope to compete with the mail order giants strictly on price. But what we CAN offer you is a level of customer service those guys can't hope to provide.
