The Dragon Knight

As nymphs and fairies sing their song,
that gentle lullaby,
I'll tell a story of fantasy,
of castles in the sky.

So, lie back and here this tale of mine,
of dragons, queens and king,
of banquets held in halls of clouds,
and of the magic things.

For once I was a Dragon Knight,
the bravest in the lands.
And I had a faerie squire,
to answer my demands.

We flew together into war,
squire, knight and beast.
And at the ending of the day,
we'd celebrate in feast.

Evil wizards we would conquer,
fair maidens we would save,
and quests were won with honor,
to prove that we were brave.

We visited the Kings on earth,
and all the Queens above.
And the palaces we fought for,
were beautiful my love.

We supped at night in chambers,
raised far above the earth.
And the words I tell you now my love,
can't tell you of there worth.

I shook the hands of princess fair,
to prove my worth to them.
I kissed the lips of princesses,
to prove my love to them.

And now I come to you my love,
a sweet and crystal tear,
that I left that world behind me,
to hold you ever near.
