vacations!

I breathe in the salty, clean air, as my arms move in continuous motion. Rowing. Up. Down. Up. Down. The soft waves hitting the side of the boat, rocking it gently. Back. Forth. Back. Forth. It's so calming and relaxing. How pleasant it is. No pollution. No noise. No cities. On my way to my little Hawaiian Island, one mile off the coast of the island of Kauai.

I look at the week worth of supplies that I am toting, and I smile to myself. A wonderful, relaxing vacation. On the island of Komeona, a tiny speck of white rice, on the middle of a giant table, on a blue plate, in the middle of a giant table, is where the scene is set. Not big, but more beautiful than all the beauty queens in the world. With exotic flowers, with hues of red and gold. Brilliant hues, that tempt the eyes, and the nose. Waterfalls, a white diamond, falling, and melting into a pot of clear blue sapphires. Tall trees, green and lush, full of juicy fruits, like the Garden of Eden, except nothing here was forbidden. Life was for the taking.

A poke at my back reminds me to keep on rowing. My companion, Matt, wants to see the place I have nicknamed, "My Paradise." He's impatient to learn if the rumors are true. About the beauty of the flowers, and the mystical surrounds of Komeona, as the rumors foretell. As he soon shall see, I speak only the truth of the wonders and magical things that happen here.

Land. There is the exquisite place now. I can just smell the intoxicating scent from the huge birds of paradise, and the lovely orchids. Matt smells the air as well, "What is that aroma? It's like heaven on Earth."

We land on the white, sandy beach, and tie the boat to a tall tree, covered with the most delicious fruit you have ever seen. We take off our shoes, and feel the hot sand between our toes. The island is so tiny that you can see to the other side without binoculars. It's quite a distance, but you can see the sun setting over the blue crystals of the ocean, with the fire of reds, pinks, yellows, and blues, dancing around. Tempting us. "come close," the twirling flames whispered, with their magicial chants. Like the Sirens, they draw us near, closer and closer, until there is no where to go.

Matt followed closely behind me, as I lead him into our house for the next week. He looked around in wonder as I showed him into our cave. The cave is not too long, and it's not narrow, it was actually quite large for a small cave. It was big enough to be a living room in most houses. The homemade decorations laid about the cave, in an array of colors, and imaginations ran wild. Seashells line the walls, and beautiful flowers growing up from the homemade pots from conk shells. There was tattered rags lining the hard rock floor. More rags were in the corger, for the large, quite comfortable, bed. Pillows lay strewn about, made out of beautifully colored bird feathers.

Then I pull back the curtian of leaves, and twigs to reveal a waterfall right out of the backdoor. Dropping down about four or five feet into a lagoon of clear blue water. He looked down in awe of all the wonderful things he has seen. He sighed at me, and exclaimed about what a long and tiring trip to the island, it had been.

"Care for a dip, My Princess?"

He started to pull up his shirt, showing off his sexy chest. He was gleaming with sweat, his muscles shown in the sunlight. He reached down and unbuttoned his khaki shorts. He pulled them down, revealing black silk boxers. His body lean, muscled, tan, and sexy as hell. I couldn't stop staring at him as he slowly started to pull down his boxers.

"Elizabeth? Elizabeth would you wake up!!"

I sat up with a start. I could hear people giggling all around me. I was not sure what had just happened. I looked around and realized I was in class. I must have dozed off, and had a beautiful dream.

"Elizabeth, I'm ashamed of you. Your suposed to be writing an essay about the perfect paradise, and there you are, sleeping the day away!"

My teacher glared at me. Obviously annoyed at the situation. I never mad it better, considering all my assignments were always late. I'm sure I gave her plently of ammunition for the rest of the sesmter.

"I'm sorry, Professor. I"ll have it done in time, I promise!"

I smiled to myself as I walked from the classroom. Of course now I had the inspiration for the best damn paradise in the world: my own little island of Komeona. Now... Where was I in my dream...?
