As he says hello.

His hellos are always the best.

You wait all day for those hellos.

 

His eyes search yours,

as you tell him it's time to go.

His eyes usually green and bright,

Now, gray and full of mourn.

 

His tears begin to fall,

as you close your eyes.

You can't see those tears,

or see his sadness.

 

His hand moves to yours,

as you turn ur head away.

You want him to be forever,

yet forever is now.

 

His lips move in a silent prayer,

as you slowly drift away.

You can't stop what's happening,

but how much you wish you could.

 

He says his final goodbye,

as you die in his arms.

You don't feel the pain you once did,

as you float back into his arms again.
