So, you picked "life" eh? Well...isn't that just fine. What are you expecting? A picture of me? Waiting for me to tell you all about my activities and stuff?? Well...as they say, the customer is always right, but I hate being so cliche...here goes.
That's me. Your average all-american 17-year old, high-school senior. My name is, of course, Dave...or at least that's what I want everyone to think. I live in Boardman Ohio, a 'burb of the city that never wakes. I'm 5'10", 165 lbs., green eyes, brown hair...want to know more, refer to the picture. I enjoy watching TV (South Park, Simpsons, and Dilbert mostly...) playing on the computer, going "out" even when there's really no where to go, and generally goofing off. I play the violin and I believe myself to be pretty good at it. I'm a member of the Boardman High School Symphony Orchestra and the BHS Chamber Orchestra. I'm also a member of the Youngstown Symphony Youth Orchestra and I voluenteer my time at the Youngstown Symphonette, an orchestra for little kids. I'm also the first violin in a quartet called "The Boat Dock Four." In addition to playing the music, there's a lot that goes on behind the scenes. I'm involved in that, as a librarian (music copier) but more importantly, as an orchestra manager...big word, but it basically means people who carry bass drums and amplifiers around, set up stages, and hurt themselves. But we get to miss school because of it, so it's fun. Also as a manager, I'm the string equipment supervisor, which means I look after the repair kit and insure the well-being of school-owned cellos and basses. In addition, I am the Head of Public Relations for the orchestra...that means I get to talk to the newspaper people, take pictures and design the official school orchestra webpage!....loads o' fun! I get a seat on the governing panel too. I've also take up the guitar. I was bored one day, so I went out and bought a blue Fender Stratocaster. Fun instrument! So, are you tired of hearing about my musical interests?? Well, YOU asked what I do, and that's about it. I try to have a social life from time to time. And I do have a girlfriend, for those of you who wondered what is housed in my "love" section...it's basically pictures of my sweetie Katie. I've got a cool-ass '85 Nova. I had to replace almost the entire engine *grin* but it's worth it to have my own wheels. So, that's all I have to say. Now, get out of here.
