Michael
Loyd is nineteen years old and was born in Cherry Point, North Carolina. He moved to Jackson, Tennessee, before traveling
(at the age of eight) to the place he calls home; Whidbey Island - a tranquil place that sits in the very center of the peaceful
Puget Sound in Northwest Washington. With mild winters and cool summers, it was the perfect place to write his first book.
Whidbey Island is one of those very few places in the world that has avoided mass commercialism. He hopes that it stays that
way so that the unique island will one day inspire another person to follow their dreams. With
high hopes and never-ending ambitions, Michael was just fifteen, a freshman in high school, when he began writing Humans Reborn. It took him well over four years to complete the entire project
from beginning to end. Persistence has paid off for Loyd, as this accomplishment shows young adults everywhere that dreams
do come true. |
